ABOUT AVIDA GROUP

AVIDA Group is a private equity company which is organised as a partnership and emanated from ERGO Equity Partner AG. The company was founded in 1999 with the purpose of opening up the private equity market for capital investments of institutional investors, with due consideration of their special requirements.

Since then, two pan-European private equity funds with a total fund volume amounting to more than EUR 320 million have been set up by AVIDA Group. In addition to this the fund management of further venture capital / private equity funds with volumes totalling EUR 140 million has been assigned to AVIDA Group in the framework of secondary transactions. Furthermore end of 2006 / beginning of 2007 a mid-cap portfolio as well as a venture capital fund have been acquired.

Currently six fund groups with an aggregate equity commitment amounting to more than half a billion Euro are managed under the umbrella of AVIDA Group. The more than 60 portfolio companies are managed by 35 investment professionals.

AVIDA Group is majority owned by management, further shareholders are CDC Entreprises, the private equity arm of the French Caisse des Dépôts Group as well as several German family offices.
